Come one, come all! Just come dressed up as a TV character. Think Jersey Shore, Gilligan's Island, Fat Albert, The Office, The Lone Ranger, MASH, Charlies Angels, Fantasy Island, Starsky and Hutch... the list can go on and on.

We work hard to keep things running smooth around here...

In these last couple weeks of clouds and rain, times have been hard. Webcams have been consulted, eyes have been strained while looking for the next big break in the weather. In short, we at Talkeetna Air Taxi have been doing our very best to summon up the sun.

Our moose was decorated bush-plane style on a rainy day by TAT office staff Jen and Joyce.



This was our contribution to Talkeetna’s 5^th Annual “Moose on the Loose” parade, and we'd hoped it would please the flight gods. Unfortunately, no sun yet. (Well, a little sun.)

In other rainy day news, a new project is starting up: ramper Audrey West, pilots Danial Doty and Will Boardman, and Natasha Macintosh have a couple jam sessions under their belts so far and a great name for their fledgling band: “Strings Without Wings”. The band members got together yesterday- Audrey(fiddle), Danial(mandolin), Will(guitar), Natasha(vocals)- and blew everyone away with their soulful singing, bowing, and strumming. They performed an amazing rendition of “Do Right Woman, Do Right Man” by Aretha Franklin right here in the office.

Whoo-hoo! Get your autographs now, because these guys are the real deal.
