Talkeetna Air Taxi flies year round.  Winter months highlight the Alaska Range in unique lighting of aplenglow illuminating the peaks in hues of orange and pink that come with the short cold days.

March is an amazing time to visit Alaska.  With days getting longer the anticipation of Spring is in the air.  Evenings may offer a glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.  The first Saturday in March is the beginning of the Iditarod, The Last Great Race.  We can provide you a front row, bird's eye view of mushers and their sled dog teams along the thousand mile trail ending in Nome.  Check out our Iditarod Tour page for more details on the trips we offer.

Our winter office hours are seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.  November through February flights depart daily at 12:30 p.m.
