We can provide you a front row, bird's eye view of mushers and their sled dog teams along the thousand mile trail ending in Nome. Check out our Iditarod Tour page for more details on the trips we offer.
Scenic tours in the winter provide guests with exceptional views of the Alaska Range with dramatic lighting. The snow that falls in the winter months replenish the snowpack of the mountains and glaciers of the Alaska Range. Alaska winters can be extremely cold so you need to dress appropriately when flightseeing this time of year. Sunglasses, a heavy jacket, hats, gloves, thermal base layers and warm boots are recommended. Due to snow conditions and cold temperatures, glacier landings generally are not available this time of year.
