For those who dare to visit Alaska in the colder months, we offer the Winter Explorer tour from October 1st – April 30th. Winter months highlight the Alaska Range in unique lighting of alpenglow illuminating the peaks in hues of orange and pink that come with the short cold days. Your pilot will be your guide and customize your tour based on weather conditions for the day.

- You are required to check in at our office 45 minutes prior to flight departure. Talkeetna Air Taxi reserves the right to reschedule or cancel your reservation if you have not arrived and fully checked in within 15 minutes of your tour’s departure.

- Closed-toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals)
- Jacket *From May to the middle of September wear a light/medium jacket (layers are always a sure thing in Alaska). From mid-September to April a heavy jacket, hat, boots and gloves are recommended.
