Customer Service Applicants

This position requires excellent customer service qualities. A self-motivator who is able to take initiative and has basic computer/math skills. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a good working relationship with fellow staff members (team player).

Customer Service Duties Include: Greeting and checking in scenic passengers and climbers, collecting payments, answering phone calls, taking reservations as well as responding to email inquiries, processing online reservations and possible dispatching.

Customer Service is our #1 priority. Candidates must fully understand Talkeetna Air Taxi’s mission statement, which is to listen to our customers needs and respond to the information requested in a caring, patient and heartfelt way.

Our goal is to ensure to the best of our ability that each and every one of our customers leaves Talkeetna Air Taxi having an amazing experience.

Pilot Applicants

All pilots are required to attend one week of ground school in Talkeetna during the last half of April, as well as pass all check rides before their employment is finalized.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Commercial license
  • 2,000 hours minimum total time
  • 500 hours tail wheel time preferred
  • At least 50 hours in the following make and models: Cessna 185 and/or DHC-2 DeHavilland Beaver and/or DHC-3ST DeHavilland Otter
